Celebrate Partington - 20th - 25th June 2022

As you probably know Partington is an amazing community, and after a rough few years we thought it would be great to showcase, highlight and celebrate all that is good about our community. 'Celebrate Partington’ week has been created to do just that. Through the week partners right across the community are working with others to put on a series of events which will help to highlight all that is great about Partington. Below is the line up so far. If you're planning an event during that week, please let us know and we will add it to the calendar!

What's happening so far?

Monday 20th June

Volunteer Celebration!

7pm - 9pm, The People's Church, Chapel Lane

Kicking off the events is a 'thank you' night for all of the incredible volunteers that help to make our community what it is. There will be a buffet, entertainment and thank you's all around to make sure our volunteers know how much they're appreciated. If you volunteer or know someone who does, you can register for the event here. Alternatively, drop us an email address and we'll send a personal invite to them.

Tuesday 21st June

Community Clean-up day

10am - 2pm

Your Housing Group together with Trafford Housing Trust and many other partners are working together to head up a community clean-up day. Can you give a few hours or even the whole day to lend a hand getting our community looking glorious? We'll also be launching the new Hope Green project that day too. If you can contribute or volunteer in any way, you can sign up for that here.

Weds 22nd June

Hideaway Community Open Day

9.30am - 5.30pm, The Hideaway

The Hideaway has a lot to offer, yet often its only those with small children that know about it! Today the Hideaway will be open to the whole community for free. We'll have afternoon tea and free prize Bingo available and some amazing offers in the cafe for all residents to come and see what it's all about, enjoy the facilities and extra activities.

Thursday 23rd June

Celebrate Partington Showcase!

4pm - 6pm, The Fuse

The Fuse will be hosting a brilliant Partington showcase. All local groups, businesses, organisations, individuals and anyone doing good things are welcome to have a stand, do a demonstration or performance and be around to celebrate all that is great about our community. Friday 24th June

Hope Centre 1st Birthday

9.30am - 4pm, Hope Centre

It's hard to believe it's been a year since the permanent Hope Centre on Wood Lane was launched, but what a year it's been! With well over 500 local households registered and using the Hope Centre regularly, it gets busier every day! Drop-in on our birthday for cake, balloons, a bouncy castle, goodies and lots more.
