The Hope Centre Partington

The Hope Centre is a community hub serving the local Partington and Carrington area. Working under the umbrella of local charity The Hideaway, the Hope Centre is run by the community, for the community, in partnership with local service providers.

We believe that by working together and each playing to our strengths, we can ensure that no matter what people need, local help will be available.

We do the things we're good at, all our friends and partners do the things they're good at, and we all work together to make sure that every resident knows what those things are.

We're based on Wood Lane at the 4 shops. Our centre is open Monday to Friday 9.30am - 4pm and Saturday 9.30am - 1pm for all M31 residents to drop in anytime.

How does it all work?

All residents with an M31 post code are eligible to join as members. There are three different levels of membership available for a small annual fee, with each entitling you and your household to a range of different benefits, such as use of our community pantry and discounts at The Hideaway.

Savings Union

We've teamed up with Sale Credit Union to offer Partington residents their own local branch. Credit Union Membership costs £1.50 and you can apply for loans after 3 months. Pay in as little as £1 per week and watch savings grow with great interest rates. Open Wednesday 5-7pm.

Food Bank

If you've been given a food bank voucher, you can pop in anytime we're open to exchange the voucher for a Food Bank Parcel.

If you're looking for a freshly prepared meal for 1 or 2 people, or even a family, that you can just stick in the oven and enjoy, we're here to help. Place your order by 10am and collect after 3pm, or just see what's available today. Healthy, hearty, fresh, affordable and delicious.

Makers Market

We have some amazingly gifted people running their own businesses making and selling handmade items. We have a range of samples in the shop and you can place an order with us for your personalised items. Support local businesses and buy your gifts from our Makers Market.

Brew Bar

The Brew Bar is a one-stop shop. Whether you have a question, need advice, want help with a form or simply fancy a natter, our Brew Bar Team are on hand with a brew, cake and a listening ear. Brew Bar Advisors are our trained specialists who can help you with more specialist support.

The Hope Centre has a range of school uniform for the local schools. Members can pop in anytime and purchase uniform, and we always welcome donations of local uniform and new shoes.

Our pantry uses donated and excess stock from others and passes it on to the community. Starting at £3, members can come once per week and fill a bag of food and essentials of your choice for your family, including bread and fresh produce.

Single Items

Alongside our donated grocery stock, we also stock a range of items for sale in smaller than usually sizes or quantities. If you're tired of wasting food and just need 2 sausages or a couple of eggs, our Buy What You Need section will save you money and allow you to buy individual portions.
