Your local MP: Kate Green

Hello, I’m Kate Green, your local MP, representing Partington. I’m very pleased to have been given the opportunity to contribute to The Hope Centre website, and I’m looking forward to using this platform to connect with Partington residents.

I’ll be sharing regular updates about my work here, to let you know what I’ve been up to within the constituency and down in Westminster.

I hope that everybody is staying well and safe, in what has been a very strange 12-month period. I am sure that a number of you will have received your first vaccination by now, and I would urge those that haven’t to take up the invite when it arrives. I had the Astra Zeneca vaccine myself when my age group was invited a couple of weeks ago, and I am very relieved and grateful to have received it. The NHS is working through the list to reach everyone as quickly as possible.

Although the pandemic isn't over and I would advise people to be careful as restrictions start to ease, I’m hopeful that we will get a sense of normality back soon. In the meantime, it is important that we follow the rules on social distancing, and continue to listen to advice.

The pandemic has meant I haven’t been able to hold my face-to-face advice surgeries, but I’m hoping to restart them later this year, and in the meantime, I am holding surgeries over WhatsApp and Zoom. If you need help with anything, then please do not hesitate to contact me. My email is: kate.green.mp@parliament.uk.
